My Alter Ego
A mirror;
broken into
minor,
unidentifiable
pieces.
Its pieces
are scattered
all around the house.
Here,
whenever you enter a new room,
you encounter an undetected piece.
For this time,
you decided to scrutinize
the one you recently discovered.
However, it's not
and will not be the only one.
You know it,
but you can't resist the temptation.
For you,
all of them
seem to be the same.
Yet, they are very different.
Each is unique.
Their size and shape differ.
Some may harm you,
others may not.
All are equally important.
The loss of a single piece
means the loss of the ''whole'' mirror.
But wasn't the mirror already broken?
